CANCELLED due to Governor Dayton's health scare. Will be rescheduled!
Join us as we stand together as utility customers to urge Governor Dayton to protect us from rising utility costs. A monopoly utility, Xcel Energy, is pushing a bill that would allow them to build a natural gas facility that will cost Xcel customers $5.7 billion over 20 years and yield a 10% rate of return for the monopoly and its shareholders. Low and moderate income households, which spend more of a percentage of their family budget on utilities, would be hit hardest by this proposal.
